How much cost to become ZERYA Pesticide Residue-free certified?2024-09-16T12:52:15+02:00

For new producers, registration with ZERYA takes the form of annual fees, depending on the crop and area. For both outdoor and protected crops in greenhouses and tunnels, the annual fee is 360 €/year up to a certified area of 100 hectares. From 100 ha upwards, the farm registration fee is 420 €/year plus 1 €/year for each additional hectare over 100 ha. Groupings of farms within the same province are allowed. For handling centres there will be one fee per product to be handled and one fee per handling centre.

Write to us and ask for our ZERYA Pesticide Residue-free field guide, in which we explain the certification requirements and processes, as well as the details of the fees that apply to you.

How long does it take to register for the Pesticide Residue-free programme?2024-09-03T13:04:06+02:00

The registration periods are 3 years, during which you, as a producer, can alter, increase or decrease the registered areas, as well as increase or decrease the registered crops. The land parcels of registered crops applying for certification must be updated annually. The current registration must always match the registered area and crops submitted for audit.

What are the benefits of ZERYA’s trade mark compared to other certifications?2024-09-16T12:55:42+02:00

Together with ZERYA you will achieve conventional, sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices, reducing the use of chemicals and optimizing natural resources. In addition to differentiating yourself in the European market, allowing access to retailers and purchasing centers that value ZERYA-certified Pesticide Residue-free foodstuffs. Our guarantee trade mark is your ally to open doors in Europe. We are your competitive advantage.

Is there a conversion period for ZERYA Pesticide Residue Free?2024-09-03T13:08:03+02:00

The certification process for producers includes a conversion period of 365 days from registration in the Producer Register or the date indicated by the company. This period allows the company to adapt and demonstrate its knowledge in the management of the quality mark. Once it has been passed, it does not need to be repeated for new farms managed by the same technical team. If new crops are introduced in the same production unit, a new conversion period is required for each different crop. Operators who so request are eligible for a reduction of the conversion period.
