ZERYA^® It is a differentiated quality trade mark that belongs to the company ZERYA Producciones sin Residuos, S.L. and is the result of years of research with the aim of defining food production systems that guarantee a final product without pesticide residues (*): In ZERYA^® Our goal is to differentiate companies with high-level technical personnel, through joint work and a conviction that it is possible to produce safe food, which allows us to reduce costs through the rational use of products and which generates a sustainable and environmentally friendly production system, which is capable of meeting consumer expectations. ZERYA^® has an organizational system made up of sectoral committees for each crop group, in which the main production companies are present. The committees carry out a continuous technical study of the crops and define action strategies, which are communicated to the registered companies and which, together with the management system defined in the regulations, allow ^® to fulfill its objective. Management and Control ZERYA® The management and control of the actions, technical and production resources, as well as the characteristics of the products and the control of the requirements demanded of the operators who intend to use the brand, will be carried out by the bodies established in the Trade Mark Regulations, which are under the supervision of the Supervisory Committee. This Committee ensures the proper functioning, transparency and independence of the trade mark, for which it periodically brings together representatives of the main links in the food chain from production to the consumer and is responsible for supervising the sectoral technical committees. The control system is carried out through independent certification bodies that carry out audits of producers and the laboratory, which takes samples and performs analyses to verify compliance with the standard. The use of the trade mark name is granted to certified companies and allows the differentiation of these products in the market. Since September 2013, ZERYA is a member of GlobalGAP and has been part of its Sustainability Commission and the Drafting Commission of the Crops for Processing Protocol. (*) For ZERYA^®, “no pesticide residues” means that all active matter is found in an analytical determination below 0.01 ppm according to European Regulation EC 396/2005.
