ZERYA’s certification for Pesticide Residue-Free Agriculture is structured in four key steps, ensuring safer products for consumers, as well as promoting environmentally friendly agricultural practices:

Where the agronomic teams receive their technical training for implementation during the conversion period and both the objectives and the detailed action plan that meets ZERYA standards are set.

It involves the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices as set out in ZERYA’s general regulations and constant monitoring to ensure the absence of pesticide residues.
To this end, we provide lists of recommendations for nutritional, phytosanitary and input treatments for each crop.

Authorized laboratories perform crop-specific multi-residue analyses to detect that all active matter is below <0.01 ppm, the most stringent Maximum Residue Limit in European regulations.

The authorized independent certifier performs the audits outlined in the ZERYA regulation to confirm that the management of production in the field, greenhouse or hydroponics complies with our standard for residue-free products.
After successfully passing the verifications, a certificate is issued to certify pesticide residue-free production.

What crops are most recommended for Regenerative Agriculture?2022-03-03T14:13:10+01:00

What is the difference between Regenerative and ecological farming?2024-09-03T13:40:57+02:00

Ecological farming and regenerative agriculture share some principles and practices, but regenerative agriculture focuses on creating sustainable, regenerative farming systems that promote biodiversity and the restoration of healthy ecosystems, while ecological farming focuses on producing food without the use of synthetic chemicals. Although organic farming refers to a broader term, which includes different types of agriculture that, like regenerative agriculture, minimize the impact of agricultural activity on the land.

What role does the community play in promoting sustainable and regenerative agricultural systems?2024-09-03T13:42:27+02:00

The community can play an important role in promoting sustainable and regenerative agricultural systems through education and promotion of sustainable agricultural practices.

How can I start implementing regenerative agriculture in my field?2024-09-03T13:02:11+02:00

Some regenerative farming practices you can implement on your farm are: cover crops to protect the soil and maintain life within it, crop rotation to improve soil health and reduce erosion, organic manures to improve soil fertility and reduce reliance on chemical fertilisers, and encouraging biodiversity through the introduction of natural solutions. In addition, you can also plant cover crops throughout the year to avoid bare soil and mitigate erosion.
