ZERYA®, the benchmark brand in agriculture without pesticide residues, was present at Fruit Attraction 2023 together with its international ecosystem. At this edition we were able to share the latest developments and trends in this field, as well as in Regenerative Agriculture and the technologies proposed by members of the ecosystem that promote a new model of sustainable, healthy and profitable agriculture.
Growing ecosystem and market
As every year, the ZERYA® stand was a unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in the agri-food sector, as well as to establish contacts and generate business opportunities.

Special mention should be made of the involvement of the media partner SPE3: ACTUAL FruVeg, Tecnología Hortícola y Poscosecha – Poscosecha.com which, in addition to presenting the book ‘Envasado sostenible de frutas y hortalizas: Del campo a la mesa’ which analyses the needs of the sector and the different strategies to achieve the best results, was interviewing ZERYA’s collaborators during the fair.
Rubric with the ETSIAM of the University of Cordoba
During the fair, we had the opportunity to announce ZERYA’s new collaboration with the UCO with which we will offer the new online courses ‘Agriculture without Pesticide Residues’. The course will be developed through the online platform. In addition, master classes will be held in person. The director of ETSIAM, Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica y de Montes, Rosa Gallardo Cobos, showed her interest in implementing the training in collaboration with the University of Córdoba.

Eurofins once again confirms its commitment to promoting innovation and sustainability in the food chain.
Cocktail of technologies
During our Wednesday Cocktail, Plant Health Care, Inc. presented its latest innovation: PREzym™️, the solution that provides increased resistance during periods of stress, improves the overall condition of the crop and is Zero Residue. PREzym complements the biostimulant ProAct®️aa.
María del Mar López García, technical director of Plant Health Care, explained to the attendees that this is a non-biocidal product designed to achieve a more resistant crop and that it has proven its effectiveness in different trials carried out on vegetables, fruit trees, grapes, rice, cereals, soya and sugar cane.

This was followed by a presentation of AQUACTIVA by Grégoire Gaume in which he introduced Agro ECA Protect, the world’s only ecological biostimulant.
This innovative, fully biodegradable product, consisting of a mixture of electrolysed water (ECA) and zeolite and 100% natural ingredients, is an effective alternative to traditional chemical fungicides.
It is applied by foliar spraying. Highly effective against all types of pathogens and especially against fungi such as Botrytis cinerea, Anthracnose, Mildew, Mycosphaerella, Cladosporium or Stemphylium, Agro ECA Project becomes the great ecological alternative to traditional chemical fungicides at a very competitive price.

Asfertglobal, a specialist in the development and commercialisation of biofertilisers, biostimulants and biocontrol solutions based on the use of microorganisms and new organic molecules from natural sources, which proposes innovative solutions for plant nutrition and protection, and ZERYA signed a cooperation and development agreement to continue advancing together in food production systems that guarantee a final product free of pesticide residues.
The ecosystem collaborators were able to enjoy a cocktail made with fruit and vegetables certified by ZERYA, with pumpkins from Hortapronta, tomatoes offered by Javier Gil García of Limerence, ….. They received a bottle of residue-free EVOO olive oil from the Cooperativa Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles in Montellano (Seville).
The 2023 edition of Fruit Attraction offered the best harvest of the ZERYA ecosystem. Every day more and more producers, manufacturers, certification bodies,… are joining the model of Agriculture without Pesticide Residues to offer a value chain adapted to consumer demand.
