The certification process for producers includes a 365-day conversion period, starting from the date of registration in the Producers’ Registry or the date specified by the company. This period allows the company to adapt and demonstrate its knowledge of managing the quality mark. Once this period has been completed, it is not necessary to repeat it for new farms managed by the same technical team. If new crops are introduced at the same production site, a new conversion period is required for each different crop. Operators who request it may be eligible for a reduction in the conversion period.
